Forget boring old salted or toffee. There are endless exciting, healthy popcorn flavours to choose from – so long as you make it yourself! And it couldn’t be easier (or cheaper) to do…

Ingredients

Popping Corn, Uncooked

80 g

Blue Dragon Crispy Seaweed

15 g

Sesame Seeds

1 tablespoon(s)

Salt

½ teaspoon(s)

Calorie controlled cooking spray

4 spray(s)

Instructions

  1. Pop the popcorn kernels in an air popper, if you have one. Otherwise, put the kernels in a large microwave-safe bowl and cover with a vented lid or a plate. Microwave on high for 3-4 minutes, or until there’s about 5 seconds between pops. Be careful when you take the lid off, as it’ll be steaming hot!
  2. Crumble 3 sheets of seaweed, and mix with the toasted sesame seeds and salt. Mist the popcorn with cooking spray, scatter over the seaweed mixture and toss well to combine.

Notes

Get ahead with snacks by making a larger batch of popcorn - once cooled, it will keep in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
