Prepare an Aussie inspired WeightWatchers® feast for your friends and family to enjoy. Here are our best suggestions to wow your guests and keep the festivities healthy, fun and active.

1. Party prep

Instead of rushing around on the day, prepare as much as you can the day before. Most salads can be made in advance and marinate the meat overnight in the fridge and thread your kebabs. Theme them up by using yellow and green capsicums for an Aussie feel.

2. Nibblies and drinks

If you're drinking, try alternating your alcoholic beverages with water or sparkling water and a slice of lime. You can also chop up a colourful fruit plate with strawberries, watermelon, pineapple, and grapes, or make a veggie platter with cucumber, capsicum and carrot sticks. Serve with a hummus or tzatziki dip.

3. Backyard games

A fun way to get moving is to start a game of backyard cricket or bring out the slip and slide for the kids. Most towns or cities have a morning fun run which makes a great way to raise funds for charity and to get your healthy Australia Day started!
