If you’re a fan of Cobb salad, you’ll love our delicious burger riff. All of the classic elements are here: turkey breast (in this case ground), lettuce, tomato, bacon, hard-boiled egg, avocado, and blue cheese dressing. It’s just as tasty as the traditional salad, in a fun handheld package.

Ingredients

Cooking spray

4 spray(s)

Uncooked ground turkey breast

1 pound(s)

Low sodium soy sauce

2 tsp

Garlic powder

¾ tsp

Kosher salt

½ tsp

Black pepper

½ tsp

Reduced calorie hamburger bun

4 bun(s), toasted

Lettuce

4 leaf/leaves, large

Tomato

4 slice(s)

Light blue cheese salad dressing

4 Tbsp

Crisp cooked bacon

4 slice(s), halved

Hard boiled egg

2 large egg(s), sliced

Avocado

1 medium, sliced

Instructions

  1. Coat an outdoor grill rack or a stovetop grill pan with cooking spray. Prepare the outdoor grill to medium-high heat, or heat the grill pan over medium-high.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the turkey, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping each into a ¾–inch-thick patty. Arrange the patties on the grill rack or grill pan. Close the grill lid or loosely tent the grill pan with foil; grill the patties until cooked through, 4 to 5 minutes per side.
  3. Onto the bottom half of each burger bun, layer 1 lettuce leaf, 1 tomato slice, and 1 burger patty. Spread 1 tbsp dressing onto each burger patty and top evenly with the bacon, eggs, and avocado. Top with the top halves of the buns.
  4. Serving size: 1 burger
