Ingredients

Peas, fresh or frozen

125 g

Vegetarian parmesan style hard cheese

15 g

Garlic

Basil, fresh

Lemon Juice, Fresh

Olive Oil

Wholewheat Pasta, dry

240 g

Instructions

  1. Cook the peas for 3-4 minutes in a pan of boiling water. Drain and rinse in cold water to cool.
  2. Put the cooked peas in a mini food processor with garlic, cheese, basil, lemon juice and extra-virgin olive oil and blitz to a purée. Add a splash of water if the pesto is too thick.
  3. Cook 240g wholewheat pasta to pack instructions, then toss with the pesto to serve
