Transform the humble sausage into ‘haute’ dogs with this next-level topping, guaranteed to wow!

Ingredients

Green pepper

½ medium

Pineapple

100 g

Paprika

½ teaspoon(s), level, smoked

Reduced Fat Mayonnaise

50 g

Teriyaki Sauce

1½ tablespoon(s), level

Reduced fat pork sausages, grilled

4 medium

Hot dog rolls

Instructions

  1. Place a large griddle pan over a medium-high heat. When hot, mist the pepper with cooking spray and place on one side of the pan and grill for 10 minutes. Halfway through, turn over, then mist the pineapple with cooking spray, and add to the other side of the pan. Turn midway through. Remove, along with the pepper, and leave to cool.
  2. Finely chop the pineapple and pepper and mix together; season lightly. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise with the teriyaki sauce. Place 1 sausage in each roll and top with the pepper and pineapple. Drizzle over the mayonnaise and serve immediately.
