Ingredients: 4 medium Apple, granny smith, unpeeled, fresh Peeled, cored, coarsely chopped; 2 tbs Lemon juice; 2 tsp Artificial sweetener 4 x 2g Natvia; 1 individual Star anise; 0.5 tsp Ground cinnamon

Cooking pork this Christmas? This is a juicy and tangy sauce that is a must–have!

Ingredients

Apple, granny smith, unpeeled, fresh

4 medium, Peeled, cored, coarsely chopped

Lemon juice

2 tbs

Artificial sweetener

2 tsp, 4 x 2g Natvia

Star anise

1 individual

Ground cinnamon

½ tsp

Instructions

Place the apple, lemon juice, sweetener, star anise, cinnamon and 1/3 cup (80ml) of water in a medium saucepan. Cover and bring to the boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat to low. Cook, covered, for 10 minutes or until tender.
Discard the star anise. Use the back of a spoon to mash the apples until a coarse puree forms. Season with salt.
