Here's a simple, 3-ingredient, no-cook appetizer that will easily impress. It's equally great for dinner parties or fancy after-school snacks. Swap in different flavoured cheese sticks, greens and meats to suit your tastes. Baby spinach, turkey and part-skim mozzarella is one great flavour combination. Baby romaine, jalapeno cheese sticks and ham is also tasty. If you have the time, tie each bundle with a chive instead of using toothpicks.

Gouda cheese

4 oz, smoked

Prosciutto

3 oz

Arugula

Instructions

  1. Cut cheese into 16 strips and cut pieces of prosciutto lengthwise in half. Then cut each piece in half again so you have 16 pieces each cheese and prosciutto.
  2. Take a few arugula leaves and place them under a piece of string cheese; wrap a piece of prosciutto around the outside and secure with a toothpick. Place on a platter; repeat with remaining ingredients.
  3. Serving size: 4 pieces
