Serve with a crispy, fresh green salad for a complete meal. Or pair with tortillas or some bread to sop up the flavourful chili broth.

Ingredients

Cooking spray

4 spray(s)

Uncooked 99% fat-free ground turkey breast

2 pound(s)

Onion

1 large, chopped

Garlic clove

2 clove(s), medium, minced

Fat-free reduced sodium chicken broth

4 cup(s)

No-salt-added canned drained cannellini beans

31½ oz, rinsed

Fresh lime juice

3 tbsp(s)

Ground cumin

1 tsp(s)

Dried oregano

1 tsp(s)

Chipotle chili powder

1 tsp(s)

Cilantro

¼ cup(s), fresh, chopped

Instructions

  1. Spray large skillet with cooking spray and set over medium-high heat. Add turkey, onion, and garlic and cook, breaking up turkey with wooden spoon, until turkey is browned, about 10 minutes.
  2. Transfer turkey mixture to 3- or 4-quart slow cooker and add broth, beans, lime juice, cumin, oregano, and chipotle powder. Cover and cook 4 hours on low. Serve sprinkled with cilantro.
  3. Serving size: 1 cup

Notes

To store leftovers, transfer the chili to an airtight container and let cool. Cover and refrigerate up to 4 days or freeze up to 3 months.
