Frozen strawberries are not only a convenient year-round ingredient, they also work to thicken this smoothie so you don’t need to add ice. If you don’t have strawberry protein powder, you can substitute vanilla protein powder; the frozen fruit will still give you plenty of berry flavour.

Ingredients

Unsweetened frozen strawberries

Plain unsweetened almond milk

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the frozen strawberries, almond milk, yogurt, and protein powder; blend on high speed until smooth, 30 seconds to 1 minute.
