Allison is a clinical health psychologist specializing in weight management and eating behaviors. Throughout her career, Allison has provided direct clinical care to more than 3,000 clients and has been published widely in peer-reviewed journals. She also holds specialized clinical training in cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, and health coaching. She completed her doctoral degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, clinical internship at the James A. Haley Veterans’ hospital in Tampa, Florida, and her postdoctoral fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
