Serve these on buns, in lettuce wraps, over rice, with baked fries...whatever satisfies (just track the extra ingredients). If you don't have ground turkey breast, you can swap ground chicken breast in its place.

Ingredients

Cooking spray

4 spray(s)

Uncooked extra lean ground turkey breast

1 pound(s)

Red onion

½ medium, finely chopped

Egg

1 large egg(s), beaten

Fresh parsley

2 Tbsp, chopped

Garlic

1 clove(s), minced

Dried tarragon

½ tsp, or dried rosemary

Table salt

½ tsp

Black pepper

¼ tsp, freshly ground

Instructions

  1. Off heat, coat a broiler rack with cooking spray. Preheat the broiler.
  2. In a large bowl, gently combine the turkey, onion, egg, parsley, garlic, tarragon, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 burgers. Broil the burgers 4 inches from the heat until cooked all the way through, about 5 minutes per side.
  3. Serving size: 1 burger

Notes

Load the burgers with easy ZeroPoint toppings like water-packed roasted peppers, pickled onions, leafy greens, and sliced tomato. This recipe first appeared in Best of WeightWatchers® Volume 1 and is used here with permission.
