The key to making this popular sandwich filling so great is to finely mince the vegetables so they spread evenly throughout the salad, imparting great flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

Canned chunk white tuna in water

12 oz, drained

Vidalia onion

½ small, finely minced (about 1/3 cup)

Celery

1 rib(s), medium, finely minced (about 1/3 cup)

Light mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Place tuna in a mixing bowl and flake with a fork until very fine. Add onion, celery, and mayonnaise; mix well. Season with a pinch of salt, if desired.
  2. Serving size: scant 1/2 cup

Notes

If you don't like mayo, swap in plain nonfat Greek yogurt instead.
