This no-cook recipe is simple to prepare and works with pretty much anything. Pair it with fish, shellfish, beef, pork, chicken, and turkey. It would also be quite tasty drizzled over mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad, or used as a dip for crudités.

Ingredients

Fresh basil

2 cup(s), fresh young leaves

Fresh parsley

1 cup(s), leaves

Jarred minced garlic

¼ tsp

Fresh lemon juice

2 tsp

Water

6 Tbsp, warm

Kosher salt

¼ tsp

Instructions

  1. Puree all ingredients in a blender or small food processor.
  2. Serving size: 1 ½ Tbsp

Notes

The water helps thin the sauce to a nice consistency, but if you would like it to be more pourable, add more water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until it reaches your desired consistency.
