Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a small nonstick skillet over high heat until bubbling. Break the egg into a small cup or saucer, then slide it gently into the skillet. Cover, reduce the heat to low, and cook until the white is set and opaque. Season to taste (optional). Serve at once.
