These individual dips can be assembled the morning of a party. Cover with plastic wrap and chill before serving with baked chips or fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

Low fat cream cheese

1 cup(s), whipped variety

Cocktail sauce

¾ cup(s)

Uncooked lump crabmeat

1 pound(s)

Celery

½ cup(s), chopped, minced

Shallot

½ cup(s), chopped, minced

Capers

3 Tbsp

Avocado

½ cup(s), chopped

Chives

3 Tbsp, chopped

Lemon

1 item(s), large, cut into 8 wedges

Instructions

  1. Line up eight 9-oz plastic or glass cups (or very small glass bowls). In each cup, layer 2 Tbsp cream cheese, 1 1/2 Tbsp cocktail sauce, 2 oz crab, 1 Tbsp celery, 1 Tbsp shallot, a heaping tsp capers and 1 Tbsp avocado; garnish with chives and serve with lemon. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  2. Serving size: 1 dip

Notes

Add a few squirts of Sriracha to the cocktail sauce for a spicier dip.
