For the best results, make sure to rinse the turkey wings well under cold water and to pat them dry. This will help the seasoning stick and help the turkey skin get nice and brown and crisp. Serve with a fresh green salad or sauteed greens, and a side of corn bread or rice and beans.

Ingredients

Cajun seasoning

2 Tbsp

Reduced sodium chicken broth

1 cup(s)

Garlic powder

2 Tbsp

Poultry seasoning

2 Tbsp

Seasoning salt

1 tsp

Black pepper

1 tsp

Extra virgin olive oil

1 Tbsp

Uncooked turkey wings with skin and bone

2 pound(s), 8 (4-oz) wings

Celery

2 rib(s), medium, diced

Uncooked onion

1 large, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325℉.
  2. In a small bowl, combine Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, seasoning salt, and pepper. In a large bowl, rub oil and seasoning mixture all over turkey.
  3. Spread celery and onion in bottom of a nonstick 9- X 13-inch baking dish; arrange turkey in a single layer over vegetables. Pour broth over turkey; cover tightly with foil. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes; remove foil and bake until browned, about 15 minute more.
  4. Serving size: 1 turkey wing
