Get all the flavors of homemade banana bread in a bowl. It's a wonderful treat to make sure that you start your day off right. You can put it all together the night before to have it ready to go for you in the morning. The steel-cut oats are flavored with bananas, cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and ground nutmeg. Serve topped with fresh sliced bananas and berries or any fresh fruit you have on hand. If you have the extra time or are enjoying this breakfast during the weekend, you can cook some banana slices in a skillet with cooking spray and/or blackberries until roasted to scatter on top of the oats.
