After winding down from weeks of extra-tasty holiday eating, dinners might seem a little ho-hum these days. Your palate needs a winter wake up! This is a perfect time to break out the spices, grab some fiery condiments, and stock up on fresh chiles to liven up your plate.
We know spicy foods aren't one-size-fits all, so these recipes leave room for customization. Just dial the spices up or down depending on your heat tolerance—or leave them out altogether (it won't affect how the recipe cooks). Meatloaf, for instance, can be made with mild or spicy green chiles, and tasty sesame noodles will be just as delicious if you opt out of the sambal oelek.
