Pisco- pronounced pee-sco is a potent grape brandy and is used to make this cocktail which is the national drink of Peru. This drink packs a punch so serve in small glasses.

Ingredients

Ice cube

¾ cup(s)

Diet soda

9 tsp(s)

Brandy

2 fl oz, Pisco

Fresh lime juice

2 tbsp(s)

Sugar

3 tsp(s)

Egg whites

1 tbsp(s), (pasteurized)

Lime

1 wedge(s), cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Put ice, Pisco, Diet Sprite, lime juice, sugar, and egg whites in a blender and blend until smooth and foamy.
  2. Pour into 2 glasses and let stand until foam settles on top. Garnish with a lime wedge or slice, if desired.

Notes

Yields 2/3 cup per serving. AllWhites® is the secret to the foamy head in this cocktail. Since the egg whites are pasteurized they’re a much better choice to use in recipes that call for raw eggs.
