WW Ambassador Victoria (@victoria.on.ww) shows you how to make super tasty, quick chicken nuggets in the air fryer. Shake ’n bake, baby!

Ingredients

Skinless chicken breast

500 g, cut lengthways into 3cm thick strips

Buttermilk

1 cup(s), (250ml)

Panko breadcrumbs

1 cup(s), (60g)

Smoked paprika

½ tsp

Garlic powder or flakes

½ tsp, (powder)

Oil spray

2 x 3 second spray(s)

Instructions

  1. Combine chicken and buttermilk in a large reusable container. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  2. Combine panko, paprika and garlic powder in a separate large reusable container. Season with salt and pepper. Drain chicken and cut into 3 cm pieces. Place chicken in crumb mixture, seal container, then shake until pieces are evenly coated.
  3. Lightly spray a 7.5 litre capacity air fryer basket with oil. Preheat air fryer to 200°C. Place chicken nuggets in prepared basket and cook for 5 minutes. Remove basket and gently shake to turn nuggets. Lightly spray nuggets with oil and return to air fryer for a further 5 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Serve.

Notes

TO REFRIGERATE: Store any leftover nuggets in a reusable container for up to 2 days. Enjoy cold or reheat in microwave to serve.
