Registered Dietitians are licensed healthcare providers with specialized training in the relationship between nutrition and health conditions. Registered Dietitians can help you guide you in building habits that improve your health and get you to your goals.

After you become a WeightWatchers member, you can access personalized nutrition counseling visits with a Registered Dietitian right in the WeightWatchers app. Tap on the Clinic tab, then the “Nutrition counseling” card. The app will walk you through the steps from there.
Healthier eating is key to sustainable weight loss. While you may know what to aim for (like eating more protein or balancing your plate), it can be hard to know exactly how to do that. In 1:1 virtual nutrition visits, Registered Dietitians can:
Develop a nutrition plan that’s tailored to your individual needs, including your medications, chronic health conditions, and food preferences.
Advise you on how to use nutrition to manage specific medical conditions, such as diabetes or food allergies.
Educate you on nutrition topics and share behavior change techniques, such as meal planning or how to handle stress eating.
We’re partnering with Berry Street to work with insurance companies for coverage of these virtual nutrition visits with a Registered Dietitian. Berry Street accepts 100+ insurance plans, including Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and many more.
When you start to schedule your first nutrition counseling visit with a Registered Dietitian, you’ll be asked to upload your insurance card (or confirm your insurance details if you’ve uploaded it previously). Then Berry Street will check your coverage with your insurer before your nutrition visit and message you with the result.
