As well as looking good on the plate, naturally purple foods are bursting with anthocyanin. Studies indicate there could be a link between eating foods containing these organic compounds and a range of health benefits.

Ingredients

Frozen Mixed Berries

50 g

Banana

1 medium

Unsweetened almond drink

250 ml

Acai powder

1 teaspoon(s)

Chia Seeds, dry

2 g

Linseed (Flaxseed)

2 g

Blueberries

20 g

Instructions

  1. Blitz the frozen berries, banana, almond milk and acai powder in a blender. Top with blueberries and a sprinkling of chia and flaxseeds.

Notes
