Strawberry and banana chocolate fondue

Dunk pieces of fresh fruit in a decadent choc-mallow melt for a fun fondue party with family or friends.

Ingredients

Dark chocolate

75 g

Orange peel

½ tsp, finely grated, plus extra rind strips to garnish

Skim milk

¼ cup(s), (60ml)

Marshmallow

16 piece(s), (80g)

Fresh strawberries

250 g, hulled

Banana(s)

2 medium, peeled, coarsely chopped

Fresh mint

¼ cup(s), (leaves, to garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place chocolate melts, grated rind, milk and marshmallows in a small saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring, until the marshmallows melt and the mixture is smooth.
  2. Pour the fondue into 4 small serving bowls and top with orange rind strips. Serve with strawberries and banana for dipping and garnish with a mint sprig.

Notes

You can use 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules instead of the orange rind for a mocha fondue.
