Ingredients

Cocoa powder

1 cup(s), (90g)

Baking powder

½ tsp

Caster sugar

150 g

99% fat-free, plain or natural yoghurt, unsweetened

200 g

Egg(s)

1 medium, lightly beaten

Vanilla bean extract, alcohol free

2 tsp

Dark chocolate chips

25 g

Oil spray

1 x 3 second spray(s)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C. Lightly spray a 20 cm square cake tin with oil and line base with baking paper.
  2. Sift cocoa powder, baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt into a large mixing bowl. Add sugar and stir to combine. Stir in yoghurt, egg, vanilla and chocolate until combined.
  3. Spoon mixture into prepared tin and level top. Bake for 20 minutes or until almost set. Cool in tin for 15 minutes before turning out onto a board. Cut into 16 squares.

Notes

TIP: Leftover brownies will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Warm individual brownies in microwave on High (100%) for 20 seconds.
