MEMBER RECIPE BY Anna Van Dyken. These cocoa and coconut bliss balls will have your snack time-sorted. Try adding some orange zest and juice for a jafa twist.

Ingredients

Raw almonds

100 g

Cocoa powder

2 tbs

Fresh dates

10 individual, pitted

Honey

2 tsp

Maple syrup

1 tbs

Shredded or desiccated coconut

¼ cup(s), (20g)

Instructions

  1. Process almonds, cocoa, dates, honey and maple syrup in a food processor until a thick paste forms.
  2. Place coconut in a small bowl. Using wet hands, roll 3 teaspoonfuls of almond mixture into a ball and roll in coconut to coat. Shake off excess and repeat to make 20 balls. Cover and chill in fridge until firm.

Notes

TIP: To make chocolate orange balls, add the grated rind of 1 orange and some juice into the mixture. Member recipe by Anna Van Dyken.
