Forget a boring bowl of cereal – keep these easy-to-store ingredients on hand to whip up a delicious healthy brekkie any day of the week

Ingredients

Canned black cherries in syrup

200 g

Natural muesli

¼ cup(s)

99% fat-free, plain or natural yoghurt, unsweetened

200 g

Honey

2 tsp

Hazelnuts

5 piece(s), toasted, finely chopped

Pumpkin seeds (pepitas)

1 tbs

Instructions

  1. Divide cherries and syrup among serving glasses and top with half the yoghurt. Sprinkle with muesli and top with remaining yoghurt.
  2. To serve, drizzle muesli cups with honey and sprinkle with hazelnuts and pepitas.

Notes

To toast hazelnuts, preheat oven to 180°C or 160°C fan-forced. Spread hazelnuts on a baking tray and bake for 3–5 minutes or until toasted. You can also use dry-roasted hazelnuts instead of toasting your own.
