Instructions

Mist a 24cm ovenproof nonstick pan with cooking spray and brown the beef for 5 minutes over a medium-high heat, breaking up any lumps with a wooden spoon. Add the diced vegetables and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.
2
Sprinkle the flour over the meat and vegetables, stirring to coat, then stir in the stock and Worcestershire sauce. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce is thickened. Season to taste, then remove from the heat.
3
Meanwhile, preheat the grill to high. Cook the mashed potato in the microwave to pack instructions. Spoon the mash over the beef mixture and use a fork to level it and create a pattern. Season, then cook under the grill for 5 minutes until the potato is crisp and golden.

While the pie is grilling, steam the broccoli for 5 minutes, until tender. Serve with the cottage pie.
