This was surprisingly good. Normally it's hit or miss with cornbread recipes, but not this one. It's a keeper. I did, however, have to keep it in the oven for an extra five or so minutes. It wasn't quite done when I set the timer for 20.
Very easy to make. Great taste and texture with the cream style corn. You can easily get more peices to lower the PPV of each serving.
Definitely not your Mama's corn bread. It's kind of sticky and tastes a lot like the creamed corn that goes into it. Very bland. It did the job, but not sure if Ill make it again.
This was OK, but I think it wasn't as good as it could have been becaused I used a locally ground corn meal. I liked the honey flavor in the bread, though. That was a nice touch.
