I liked this recipe but I took the advice of some reviewers and added onion, red pepper, splash of lemon and Parmesan cheese. I didn't like cheese with the shrimp but other than that it was very flavorful. And I had everything in my pantry!
I've made this so many times...and it never fails. I add onions and crushed red peppers for extra flavor...and sometimes I toss in some fresh spinach and chopped tomatoes (just to add color and veggies).
This was very good and tasted indulgent. I used dry herbs because I didn't have fresh on hand. I substituted bay scallops for the shrimp. I added a little crushed red pepper with the black pepper and a squeeze of fresh lemon at the end.
Simple and delicious!
