Chocolate and banana is always a delicious duo. Enjoy this smoothie for breakfast, an afternoon pick-me-up, or anytime you need a sweet protein-boost. It makes quite a lot so feel free to split this into two servings and share with someone else, or refrigerate and save for later.

Ingredients

Chocolate whey protein powder

1 scoop(s)

Water

6 fl oz, cold

Fat-free skim milk

6 fl oz

Banana

½ large

Ice cube

4 cube(s)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender; puree until thick and creamy.
  2. Makes 1 serving.

Notes

If the smoothie separates in the fridge, give it a quick whirl in the blender. You can also freeze extras for a protein-ice cream pop. For an extra dose of protein, add 1 tbsp of peanut butter.
